Open road testing is an essential stage of the process approving driver assistance and other self-driving functions. However several countries have opened their network with or without limitations for autonomous vehicle testing, there are some sections where infrastructure was designed to support testing. The aim this article give overview such open facilities around world, introducing main purposes, used (eg. sensor network, communication) features data processing, control functions), compare them planned investments in Hungary.
